Continuing professional education (CPE) credits are available from Globecon workshops in a variety of ways, listed below. Additionally, should you like us to notify an association or organization regarding CPEs you earn through our courses, please contact us and we will do our best to ensure you receive the appropriate number of CPEs.

Globecon Group and CPE Credits Awarded: CPAs, CFPs, engineers, project managers and others can benefit by receiving CPE credits from Globecon Group in these fields of study:

  • Accounting and Auditing: This includes accounting and auditing research, financial statements and reports, SEC practice, and accounting and auditing in general.

  • Management: This includes financial management in government and asset management in industry.

  • Specialized Knowledge and Applications: This includes any field of study related to specialized industries, such as engineering, health & safety, oil & gas. It also includes specialized knowledge of systems and technology.

The Globecon Group is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. CFA Institute As a participant in the CFA Institute Approved-Provider Society Program, Globecon has determined that certain events qualify for credit for the CFA Institute Professional Development Program. As a courtesy to event attendees, Globecon will notify the CFA Institute with a list of members who attended those events eligible for PDs. The PD credit hours earned will be auto-entered into each CFA Institute member’s web-based PD Diary. CFA Institute will then send an email notification to the member when a new entry is made. For self-study or courses taken outside of Globecon’s workshops, members can continue to record the event themselves into their PD Diary.

University of Phoenix Globecon courses have been evaluated by the Prior Learning Assessment Center to meet general education and elective requirements of a Bachelor's degree. In order to receive credits, submit portfolio including documentation showing completion of coursework. NOTE: When a portfolio is submitted for evaluation, certification of the course title, course number and/or clock hours will need to be submitted.
