Does work experience count towards certification?
Indirectly, yes. Each certificate requires employment within the banking or other finance industries, as well as years of experience within them, depending on the certification sought.
Are there prerequisites to each certification?
While there are no prerequisites to the Foundations of Finance certificate, each candidate must be presently employed with a bank or financial institution.

How many courses - and how much time - will it take to earn each certification?
Using an online dynamic system to deliver your courses, you will work at your own pace to study for each certification. Each Globecon Institute certification takes a different amount of time to complete, depending on your learning style and schedule. The Globecon Diploma
Participants in the Globecon certification program, through the Globecon Institute, will be awarded a diploma in a specialization after completing all four Fundamentals certifications plus any two additional certifications in any of these areas:
- Capital markets
- Credit
- Treasury
- Corporate Finance
- Risk Management
- Wealth Management
Award of a diploma includes an independent project and presentation completed by the participant in conjunction with a Globecon instructor.
